a sudden sense of panic overcomes you. you need to get out of here. right now.

you start to run, your surroundings flying past you. you're blind to everything, except the primal urge to leave this place.

but you're in too much of a hurry. you trip, and begin to fall. you fling your arms out and squeeze your eyes shut, bracing yourself for the impact of hard ground.

there's nothing.

in confusion, you open your eyes.

you're still falling.

how?

you seem to be falling through clouds. they are white and fluffy looking; they look like they'd feel like pillows if you touched them.

as if an awareness of your surroundings turned all your other senses back on, the whistling of wind fills your eyes. your eyes grow dry.

you really are falling, and the ground is getting nearer. what do you do?
